I have been at Mana Montessori since January 1999.  I am experienced in legal and educational administration and am a registered teacher.  I hold a Legal Executives Certificate, a Diploma of Teaching (Early Childhood Education), a Bachelor of Education degree, and a Montessori Teaching Diploma.  I find work with children of this age very rewarding and am proud to work at Mana Montessori.

I was appointed to my permanent position at Mana Montessori in mid-1999.  I have a Bachelor of Education degree, a Diploma of Teaching (Primary and Early Childhood Education), and a Montessori Diploma, and I am a registered teacher.  I was Head of Class from 2000 to 2003 and am pleased to again be resuming a Head of Class role for 2009.

 I have a Bachelor of Arts (Education), the Aperfield Montessori Diploma, and Diplomas of Teaching in Secondary and Early Childhood Education.  I am a registered teacher.  I worked for four years in nursery schools in South Africa and have taught in New Entrants classes in New Zealand, as well as relieving at Mana Montessori before my permanent appointment here at the beginning of 1999. 

I have been at Mana Montessori since early 2002.  I am a trained dental nurse.  After having my three children, I became more interested in education and worked as a teacher aide in schools in the Nelson and Wellington regions, including in a special needs school.  I am enjoying working at Mana Montessori and undertaking Montessori training.  I have attended MWEI and Aperfield Montessori practical workshops and am completing the Aperfield Trust Montessori Diploma.

I joined Mana Montessori at the beginning of 2005.  I have a keen interest in education and enjoy helping to support the children’s learning.  In 2009 I am commencing study for a Bachelor of Teaching (Early Childhood Education).

I have a history of involvement with Mana Montessori since 2003 as a parent and in February 2008 took up the position of Office Administrator. I am able to assist parents with any questions about fees, fundraising and general school administration.

I have a Bachelor of Arts degree and Diplomas in Teaching in Secondary and Early Childhood Education.  I am a registered teaher.  I began my teaching career at secondary level in South Africa and have taught in secondary schools in New Zealand before switching to early childhood in 2004.  In 2009 I have joined the team at Mana Montessori and commenced training towards the Aperfield Trust Montessori Teaching Diploma with keen interest.  I have two young boys of my own.

My interest in teaching began with my involvement in my own children’s early childhood education. I became a Barnardos caregiver while at home with my children and this fuelled my interest in early childhood education. In 2003 I commenced my study for a Diploma of Teaching (ECE). Once qualified, I began my teaching career as a teacher in a local childcare centre in March 2007. I am a fully registered teacher and I am looking forward to becoming part of the Mana Montessori team from the start of 2010.
